The discussion was attended by:
-
Students, undergraduates and teachers of leading universities;
-
Specialists of the Department of Ecology and Environment of Almaty;
-
Representatives of the Balkhash-Alakol Basin Inspection;
-
Branch of RSE Kazhydromet in Almaty and Almaty region;
-
Professor of the Faculty of Engineering at Gazi University (Ankara, Turkey) — Osman Nuri Ozdemir.
🧪 Contribution of IPG scientists
The Institute of Gorenje Problems participated in the event:
-
PhD Doszhanov E.O. — IPG scientist
-
Candidate of Technical Sciences Doszhanov O.M. — Senior lecturer at the Department of Thermophysics and Technical Physics of Al KazNU-Farabi
They presented the results of their own scientific developments in the field of water treatment — ozonators and filters based on carbon sorbents, which are already finding practical application and are in demand by consumers.
🎯 Research objective
Creation of an information database of various water purification systems for personal use, with their analysis:
-
manageability;
-
cleaning capacity;
-
environmental impact;
-
economic efficiency.

This research is designed in a short-term water purification product that is easy to handle, easily distributable, and provides water with a quality that does not cause acute or chronic health problems. In addition, products should have less impact on the environment and be economically viable.
The event showed the importance of close ties between government agencies, scientific institutions, the academic community and students of higher education institutions to build a dialogue and improve the quality of training of future specialists in the field of environmental protection.
